| WordReport is a report generator to generate reports in Microsoft Word format. If you know how to use Word and write SQL statements, you can use WordReport to create all kinds of reports as you need. Furthermore, with one time configuration, you can easily build periodic reports such as daily, weekly, monthly and annual reports. WordReport can read report template file and SQL file. Report template file defines the format of a report, and SQL files controls database access. WordReport creates a blank report using report template file, and executes SQL statements in SQLs file to pull data from database, and fills the cells in the blank report to generate the desired report. WordReport includes the following features: * Easy-to-use and flexibility, making report template using Microsoft Word * Powerfulness and flexibility, accessing database through SQL. * Connectivity, connection to all databases using ODBC, supporting Oracle, DB2, Sybase, Informix, MS SQL Server, Teradata, MS Access, etc. * Running multiple and different types of SQL statements ( DML, DDL ) in one report generating process, meeting complex reporting requirement. * Running in Windows mode or command line mode. * Automatic execution or executed by other applications. * Configured once, report forever. |
